That's exactly what happened with this dress. I found it on the floor underneath some other clothes I was looking at. It was the only one I could find so I had to just go with it.
Turned out, it fit perfectly and made me feel cute and summery. Needless to say, I bought it.
I have since become obsessed with Breton stripes aka sailor stripes. Mind you, I've always loved stripes. If you follow my lookbook, you'll see a few of the looks I hyped have stripes. They are infectious and a great summer trend as far as I can tell.
Went to a few stores recently and noticed that anything striped navy blue and white was quick to sell out. I actually liked grey and white as well but I figure the most common colours are navy blue and white or red and white. There's just something about them that screams summer!
Wonder what I'm going to do with all the stripes when summer comes to an end...
