In the life of a beach bum...

This is just a bit belated now that I think about it.

I was tempted to stop using this blog all together but then again, what else do I have to do at 12:42am at night?

This look basically is very new pieces - the shorts, shirt and hat - mixed with some very old pieces - vintage braided belt from my grandma's closet, gladiator sandals.

I found the belt at my grandparent's house a few days before wearing it. It was buried in the bottom right hand corner of my grandma's closet, under some purses. I was trying to help her look for a pair of shoes that she wanted sent to her - she's in Toronto atm. Found the belt, and kept it. It's made me extremely happy since I've been searching for a similar belt everywhere to no great avail.

I'm also not a huge American Eagle shopper but the shirt and shorts were on sale and cheap. The shorts are actually the perfect length for me and the shirt screamed summer. Gotta love sales.

There's not much more to say about the look other than it was killer hot out and I felt really summery.
