NOTW: China Glaze 'For Audrey'

This season, there seems to be so much talk about "Tiffany box blue" or "robin egg blue" nail polishes.  I, of course, had to find some for myself.  In my quest, I came across China Glaze's "For Audrey".  The name says it all.  I cannot tell you enough about how perfect the colour match is!

This polish is not only named for after the Tiffany blue - but it is a perfect match for it.  I compared it to a box I have and it is a perfect match in all lighting conditions. (Yes I literally took the box with me from room to room and compared it to my nails.  I was just that excited about the colour match.)  I feel like I took a layer off of the box and put it on my nails.  That is literally how good the match is.  I applaud China Glaze for the excellent dupe of the colour.
Ok, now for the polish itself.  The consistency of the polish is fairly creamy.  It took 2 coats (1 thin, 1 thick) to get this perfect colour.  Along with it's creamy texture - it is also fairly opaque.  This I actually liked.  I felt as though one thick coat may have been enough to cover my entire nail, but I also prefer to do one thin coat first.  To me, nail polish always comes out nicer if you do one thin coat, letting it dry completely, then applying a second thicker coat.

The polish went on smooth - though the first coat was a tad bit streaky - but that could just be because the polish is so creamy that getting a 'thin' layer is hard to do.  With that said, I warn that you have to be pretty gentle with this because otherwise you may get too thick of a coat - it is very creamy and opaque after the first thin coat.

It's been 4 days and no chipping yet!
